Now if you’re an avid cook you’ll be very interested in this oven from Miele. The Combi-Steam Oven uses both steam and convection for cooking or any combination of those two to create the perfect cooking experience.
“The Combi-Steam Oven is the perfect partnering of Miele oven technology,” said Kathrin Pfeifer, Product Manager for Miele. “We’ve combined true European convection technology which offers the best cooking environment for roasting and baking with our unique external steam generator to create an all-in-one-oven that provides the consummate cooking fusion.”
The award-winning lift-up control panel conceals the water and condensate containers. Strategically hidden behind the panel are the water and condensate containers. A simple touch of a button automatically lifts the control panel providing easy access to replenish the water reservoir without having to open the oven door and interrupt the cooking process. Compared to the Miele Steam Oven, the new placement of the water reservoir also increases the oven’s interior capacity by 40%, providing ample space for multiple dishes or large roasts to be cooked simultaneously.
The Combi-Steam Oven has over 100 automated programs that can be used for meats, vegetable and grain dishes which allows you to also choose the times, temperatures and other variables for either a main meal or a tasty side dish.
In addition there are 5 unique cooking programs for The Combi-Steam Oven through the Miele MasterChef Gourmet program. These programs incorporate slow cooking techniques using low cooking temperatures and longer cooking times, resulting in tender dishes.
You’ll also notice that the interior surfaces are all smooth, making clean up a very simple matter. The door also has added hinge support that will handle up to 17 lbs to help when you’re removing your meal which is a nice added touch.
