My style is…

I was recently asked what my style of homes and interiors was and to be honest, I hadn’t really thought about it much. I like a great many things and for various reasons.
I like traditional looking kitchens as well as modern ones.

I like large bathrooms as well as smaller ones.
I like colonial homes and many other styles too.
Really you might get the impression that I don’t have a particular style and to that I would somewhat agree. I find that there is no right or wrong style and that we all need to conform to that one particular way but many styles that can be admired for their individual aspects alone. I may find one aspect of something beautiful where as you would disagree and that is perfectly fine.
It’s more in the way a design is presented with the other elements that determines whether I like it or I don’t. Lets say there was a shingle styled home with classic windows and layout and then in the middle of that was a big half round window. That would be a don’t like for me. It’s totally out of keeping with the rest of the home.
So my style is all across the board. I pick based on what I like and how it is presented as a whole, if the pieces don’t work together, I don’t like it. I can’t pick any one style but enjoy many!
