This past winter a friend of mine, Andie Day, and I were discussing how great it would be to have a Tweetup in Boston this summer. If you don’t know Andie, (@AndieDay) you really should connect with her- she’s a wonderful person.
We tossed the idea around and recently we decided that we would give it a shot. We had also been mentioning it through Twitter and there seemed to be much interest so here it is. Really who doesn’t love a summer get together with friends?

Boston “Feel the Love” Summer Tweetup
Save the date- July15
Where- We are shooting for somewhere in Boston- waterfront possibly but that will ultimately be decided by the number of people attending and what establishment will have us – we’re hoping for a big turn out.
The great part of this will be actually getting together in real life and once again showing that the virtual world of social media and the real world don’t have to be drastically different. People and friends that we have had relationships and conversations with through social media can continue to grow through and into the real world.
What you can do-
1. If you would like to attend, send me an a Tweet @TALV58 or to @AndieDay to let us know that you’re interested or leave a comment below.
2. Help us promote it so everyone knows and is able to attend if possible.
3. I’ve registered the hashtag #bostonfeelthelovetweetup so if you could add that to your tweets to help spread the Love it would be wonderful.
We are both working on the venue at present and are trying to see how many will be attending so PLEASE let us know if you will be able to attend. It will be a blast that I already know!
So if you are in New England or even if you are going to be in the Boston area at that time we’d love to see you there. Heck if you’re so inclined, make a special outing of it and let’s make this an event to remember.
